Approximately 7 - 8 hours
At the end of the trip you are free to continue exploring the area or your guide will assist you in getting a taxi back to your hotel.
Enjoy a fabulous day out in Ho Chi Minh City with this full day tour that delves into its fascinating history and culture. Covering significant areas in the cities like Chinatown and Saigon, it’s your gateway to getting acquainted with the Vietnamese way of life.
The tour commences around the bustling backlanes of Chinatown near Ch? L?n, one of the busiest and most commercial areas in the city. Strolling around, you can savour a taste of incredible vibe shrouding the busy streets. Continuing to soak it all in, we will head to the 19th century Thiên H?u Temple dedicated to the goddess of seafarers. Diving deeper into the native lifestyle, we will head to the magical Cholon and Bình Tây Markets where you can catch sight of a fantastic array of goods being sold as well as observe the community. You can even indulge in a cuppa at one of the local cafes (at your own expense) and marvel at the hectic lives of the citizens.
Our next stop is the unique Fito Museum which documents traditional Vietnamese medicine, dating back to the foundation of the country. From here, we will take a quick bus ride to the city centre where we will treat you a deliciously local lunch of the famous pho or noodle soup. Post lunch, we will head for a tour of the War Remnants Museum and continue to see some of the most recognisable sights of Ho Chi Minh City, including the Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, General Post Office, and the Opera House. A short walk through the vibrant streets of Saigon will give you a real feel of the magic in the city and end the tour on a perfectly enchanting note for you!

The confirmation voucher includes the local activity operator’s contact details. They’re a nice bunch, and will happily answer any logistical questions you may have. Please give them a call at least 24 hours before your organised activity to reconfirm.
We believe time is money! Show the local guide your voucher and you’ll be all set to go!
If you have your voucher, your booking is confirmed.
We allow a maximum of 12 people on this tour to make it more of an intimate experience. Nobody wants a crowd, you know!
While packing for your vacation in Vietnam, please remember that dressing standards are quite conservative throughout the country. You will have to make sure that your shoulders and knees are covered at all times, and wear modest clothing even while swimming in certain regions. Singlets, tank tops and topless sunbathing will have to be given a miss. Loose, lightweight, long clothing is a good choice as it is both respectful and extremely comfortable in the predominantly hot Asian climate. Religious sites usually require men to wear full trousers and women to wear a long skirt or sarong while entering.
As you know, street food and drinking joints are usually run by local families, as a result of which, there might be changes in their timings or menus without any prior notice. But don’t you worry, because your guide will have a bunch of delicious alternatives up his sleeves!
This activity is adults (and older children) only. Little ones under the age of 6 years will have to sit this one out, we’re afraid.
If you are coming with your child aged 6 - 11, please remember to specifically mention ‘child’ while booking the tour.
If you are happy with the services provided by your local guides, a tip - though not compulsory - is appropriate. While it may not be customary to you, it is of great significance to the people who will take care of you during your travels, inspires excellent service, and is an entrenched feature of the tourism industry across destinations. After all, everyone deserves a small token of appreciation, are we right? Please consider this when budgeting for your extra expenses on this tour.
