Overview

Get set for a day trip away from Edinburgh to see the splendour of the Scottish Highlands. Take in the Harry Potter film locations and step aboard the Jacobite Steam Train for a journey over the famous, and spectacular Glenfinnan Viaduct.

It’s 20 years since JK Rowling wrote the adventures of the wizard boy, and it’s on this tour you’ll see the areas that inspired her creation. You’ll drive up through the stunning Scottish scenery, and see locations used in the films. Don't worry, your friendly tour guide is there to point out the film’s locations along the way. The haunting pass of Glencoe, the volcanic glen used for background scenes from the Prisoner of Azkaban. Don't worry about getting hungry because of the early start! A packed breakfast is included. 

Then it’s all aboard the Hogwarts Express in Fort William, well the Jacobite steam train! You are heading onto one of the great train journeys of the world. The highlight will definitely be crossing the Victoria Glenfinnan Viaduct. Spot any flying cars as you cross? after here, you’ll be able to stretch your legs at Glenfinnan and you’ll have the chance to visit the West Highland Railway Museum. 

It’s then onto Mallaig, and some location spotting-free time in the village. Before heading back Love your Harry Potter? Love your trains and beautiful scenery? This one-day tour is for you. See the Scottish countryside at its very best.
