Overview

On this full day tour from Edinburgh, journey across Scotland’s finest: castles, lochs, and whisky distillery.

Begin with a visit to Glasgow’s Clydeside Distillery to learn about Scotch whisky production and enjoy a tasting. Then traverse the scenic Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park en-route to a lunch stop in Aberfoyle or Balmaha. Choose from village exploration, wildlife demos (sheepdog, duck-herding), or a hike up Craigie Fort for photo-worthy loch views.

Continue through Stirlingshire as the guide shares tales of William Wallace (“Braveheart”). In Stirling, spend around two hours exploring Stirling Castle (site of Mary Queen of Scots’ coronation) or strolling the medieval streets and visiting a gin distillery. The finale is a drive-by of The Kelpies—30?m-high horse-head sculptures—and their folklore, before returning to Edinburgh by evening.
