We start this wonderful journey at Vukas Ponikve, a picturesque winery located on the top of a hill giving you breath taking views of the glimmering, crystal clear seas and you can even see as far as Mljet Island. Be sure to remember your camera as you will want to capture these exquisite views for a lifetime! Moving on to the vineyards, these were first planted in the 1950’s and 1980’s and have been perfecting their technique ever since! Luckily for you, you will be able to try these delightful perfected tastes!
After our first sensational tasting sensation is over we will head to Potomje, to the Matuška winery. A completely unforgettable experience! The location, the cellar, the views and the tastes are just hair-raising and incomparable to previous experiences! The Matuška winery used to be a little, traditional winery which tourists seldom visited. Over the years, this hidden treasure was discovered and is now enjoyed by all.
We then move onto Prizdrina, to the Bartulovic winery. This winery is full of character and is found in a little, old village full of character and culture. This location was deemed perfect by the Greeks and the Romans for growing grapes and has been passed down through generations! This winery consists of the wine cellar, a wine shop and a tavern! It really is a spectacular experience!
Then we will cruise through the vineyards to Trstenik, a small coastal village with a little pebble beach where you may enjoy some leisure time! Relax and bask in the serene countryside!
On the way back to Dubrovnik, we will enjoy some free time in Ston – an ancient military village, famous for its enormous, protecting stone walls. Then we will return home after a pleasant day tasting and exploring!
