Overview

Spend a lovely day at the picturesque island of Korcula and the panoramic peninsula of Peljesac, on this day tour along the Dalmatian coast. Learn more about the island of Korcula, the birthplace of Marco Polo and enjoy its old world charm and tranquillity. One of the most beautiful places of the Mediterranean, Korcula is steeped in history, rich culture and local legends. Explore the island, travel through its narrow medieval streets and visit its beautiful churches and museums. While at Korcula, you can also visit one of the local restaurants and go for a swim.

On the way back to Dubrovnik, visit the famous wine cellar of Peljesac and sample wines of exemplary quality. Peljesac is a name synonymous with great grape vines, olives, fishing and fruit. Spend quality time in this picturesque place, getting to know it better.

Itinerary

The tour starts at approximately 7:45am and you will be picked up from the reception of your hotel in Dubrovnik. You will first visit the idyllic island of Korcula where you will explore the proud naval heritage as well as distinctive traditions in arts and music of the place. While in Korcula, you will be visiting a number of churches and museums.

On the way back to Dubrovnik, you will be visiting the famous wine cellar of Peljesac to taste some of the local wine characteristic of this region. The tour ends at approximately 6:45pm.
