Overview

Leave “the Adriatic pearl” for a few hours and cross the border to explore the jewels of Montenegro, a small but beautiful country, whose name refers to the dark color of its peaks, covered with dense forests.

Stroll through the Dubrovacka and Konavle valleys and admire picturesque landscapes before skirting the beautiful bay of Kotor, one of Montenegro's best-kept secrets, also known as "the southernmost fjord in Europe" for its extraordinary beauty. Visit one of the neighboring villages, Perast, famous for being a traditional fishing town and located on the foothills of Mount St. Elias. In the immediate vicinity are the islands of San Jorge and Our Lady of the Rock. If you wish to explore the latter, you will have the option of hiring a boat trip.

The tour continues through the historic town of Kotor, which takes its name from the bay and has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Listen carefully to your guide as he tells you fascinating facts whilst you observe the most outstanding monuments and historic walls, a true symbol of the regions identity.

On your way to the coastal town of Budva, where you will have free time to explore its landscapes, you will have the option of photographing the luxurious peninsula of Sveti Stefan.

The day ends with a relaxing ferry crossing across the bay of Kotor that will take you back to Dubrovnik.
