Enjoy a full day excursion to Tirupathi and its many iconic Hindu temples that are world famous and draws eyeballs from all over the globe. It has one of the most famous shrines in the country thronged by continuous stream of devotees. The main attractions are Pratima Mandapauri, Tulabharam, the scales upon which materials for offerings are weighed.
Vaishnavites believe in making the pilgrimage to Tirupathi at least once in a life time to pay homage to their Gods and goddesses. The nine feet tall majestic Lord Vishnu idol draws the crowd and is quite mesmerizing to look at. Visitors can also volunteer at the huge dining halls where more than one lakh people are fed and the 'laddu prasadham' or sweet prayer token to take home with you is unique to this temple.
Sit back in your comfortable car and enjoy the scenic drive to Tirupathi. Your English speaking local guide is very knowledgeable in all things Chennai and is happy to make your tour more informative and useful. Enjoy this ride and photo stops along the way!
