Lake Balaton, Central Europe's largest freshwater lake, is very popular with tourists. The north shore of the lake is noted for its resorts, wineries and spas. Jutting into the lake, the Tihany Peninsula has one of the country's most interesting national parks and an Abbey, founded in 1051.
This sightseeing tour also takes you to the oldest spa in Hungary, Balatonfüred.
