UNESCO Heritage Tour: Banská Štiavnica

This little medieval town attracts tourists with its treasures and unforgettable atmosphere. Having belonged to the UNESCO World Heritage Sites for more than 20 years, Stiavnica is filled with a rich history of mining gold and silver, a complex of amazing tajchs (artificial water reservoirs), famous calvary (a symbol of belief ), and stylish coffee shops full of friendly people.

After we pick you up in your hotel, we will start a journey into the heart of Slovakia. The district of Stiavnica became the object of intense interest in the middle ages. The mine excursion offers viewing of historical mining objects (architecture and machines), as well as possibility to see and actually enter a former medieval historical mine.
