Start your tour at Icheri Sheher (literally translates to “Inner Town”) which in reality is an architectural reserve. Since it is separated from the new city by thick walls, this historic place is often called a fortress. The Old City territory includes the Shirvanshah Palace, the Maiden Tower, numerous mosques, bath-houses and more.

Enjoy a guided tour of the Miniature Books Museum which houses a gigantic collection of teeny-tiny books! Peruse the collection and be amazed by the vast collection that has everything from historic texts to fairy tales.
