Travel from London through Salisbury and arrive at Stonehenge. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Stonehenge, stands alone in the vast empty tract of Salisbury plain. Tour the site with an audio guide and ponder at the significance of the 40-ton stones. What were they intended for: an observatory of the moon, a temple to the sun, or perhaps an elaborate cemetery?
On leaving Stonehenge, you will return back to London and dropped at Victoria Coach Station.
Please call the activity operator at least 24 hours prior to start of the tour to confirm departure details.
When the Changing of Guard ceremony does not take place, we will visit the Horse Guards Parade.
