Activity Overview

Set off on a fun-filled cruise to Turtle Island. Get a fine opportunity to see the rarely found turtles, leading a peaceful existence in the waters and beaches of Zakynthos Zante.

The magnificent Caretta-Caretta or otherwise called Loggerhead Turtles are Zakynthos’ most famous inhabitants. The loggerhead sea turtle known as the Caretta-Caretta has become an endangered species and can only be found in the Mediterranean Sea.

Take a relaxed swim in the clear blue sea. Explore the caves of Keri and visit the lighthouse, one of the most photogenic views in Zakynthos.

Itinerary

The tour begins from Mediterranean Laganas. Accompanied by an English-speaking guide, set out in an air-conditioned vehicle to the pier from you will board our boat and set out towards Turtle Island.

Sail around the beautiful peninsula of Vassilikos, to the paradise island of Marathonisi, locally referred to as Turtle Island, where you can spot the famous turtles. These are now, sadly, endangered species and are found only in the Mediterranean Sea.

This cruise also offers one of the best chances you’ll have to see dolphins.

Take a refreshing dip in the clear blue sea before continuing on to the caves of Keri and the lighthouse, one of the most photogenic views in Zakynthos.

If weather permits, there will be a stop at one of the islands’ fantastic beaches.

The tour returns to the starting point.
