The medina of Asilah has restored streets bordered by white houses with green and blue shutters, making it a visual delight.
The mixture of Roman, Spanish and Portuguese influence is evident everywhere in Asilah. Bastions, towers and imposing ramparts offer the setting for delightful seaside walks and restaurants famous for their seafood dishes.

Your hotel/closest drop-off point in Tangier
8:00am: You will be picked up from your centrally located hotel or closest pick-up point in Tangier and taken in an air-conditioned minibus for a private sightseeing tour of Asilah. A bilingual guide (English and French-speaking) will accompany you on this tour.
9:30am: Begin your city tour of Asilah, a charming artists’ town, whose stark, whitewashed buildings along the coast provide a stunning contrast against the blue sky and ocean.
9:50am: Visit the Raissoul Palace, an early 20th century structure and actually the palace of the famed bandit Raisouli.
10:00am: Stop at the medina, surrounded by the 15th century-built Portuguese ramparts. Whitewashed houses with blue and green shutters add to the charm of the place. Friendly shopkeepers and fairly priced goods make shopping its various souks an entertaining experience. Asilah sports a Mediterranean style promenade just outside the medina that comes right up to the sea.
10:40am: There will be a refreshment stop (payable direct).
11:00am: Departure from Asilah.
12:30pm: Your tour ends with a drop-off at your hotel or the closest drop-off point in Tangier.
It is advisable to re-confirm the tour departure details 48 hours prior to the start of the tour as this tour has a minimum passenger requirement of 2 people, if this is not met the tour would either be rescheduled for another date or cancelled with a full refund
Identity papers are obligatory (passport or identity card).
The program can be modified in case of unpredictable events.
