Have a blast meeting the animals that call Finland home on an Amazing Arctic Animals Adventure!

Get ready to interact and have a little fun with arctic animals in Finland. Visit Ranua Wildlife Park, a reindeer farm, and a husky farm! Ranua Wildlife Park specializes in Arctic species and provides a natural habitat for these animals. Opened in 1983, this park has about 50 different animal species, including predators like the lynx, brown bear, and wolves. Among the park’s occupants is a family of polar bears, too.

Before we head on over to Ranua Wildlife Park, we will take in the beautiful view from Ounasvaara. After that we proceed on to meet the only family of polar bears you will find in Finland at Ranua Wildlife Park. There are also many other animals to meet there, as well. For example, you can see species like the American mink, arctic fox, hawk owl, and even the endangered honey buzzard. And, since meeting and greeting a bunch of animals can whip up an appetite, you can then enjoy a traditional Lappish buffet lunch. Then, it’s on to more fun as we visit a reindeer farm, where you can ride a sleigh pulled by reindeer! Lastly, you’ll also check out a husky farm, where you can meet the adorable and very intelligent animals. You can even enjoy a ride with them, as well! If you’ve come with family, then this is one of the best things to do in Finland!
