  • Overview & Itinerary

See the spectacular attractions and places of interest in Oslo and get an insight into the rich history and culture of Norway on this all-encompassing tour.

Admire the statues by sculptor Gustav Vigeland in the Vigeland Sculpture Park, a popular tourist attraction of Oslo. The Holmenkollen Ski Jump is a favourite among sports enthusiasts but the stunning views from the top make it a must-do for other visitors as well. Visit the Viking Ship Museum where you can truly immerse yourself in the history and culture of this northern, sea-faring country.

The tour starts from the designated meeting point and takes you to:

Vigeland Sculpture Park: Envisioned by a single man, Gustav Vigeland, the Sculpture Park is an astonishing showcase of the artist's lifework. There are over 200 sculptures made out of bronze, granite and wrought iron. One of the main attractions of the park is The Monolith, a column over 14 metres high into which entwined human bodies are sculpted.

Holmenkollen Ski Jump: Stop for the photos and admire the panoramic views from the top of the ski jump and see the world’s oldest ski museum. On Bygdøy, you will visit the Viking Ship Museum.

Viking Museum: See some of the few remaining preserved viking ships; Oseberg ship, Gokstad ship and Tune ship. In addition to the ships, the Viking Age display includes sledges, beds, a horse cart, wood carvings, tent components, buckets and other historical goods.

Ferry from Bygdøy to the city hall (17 Mar - 15 Oct): You will take 15minutes ferry in cooperation with Båtservice Sightseeing AS and will pass many small cottages and summer houses, idyllic bays and narrow sounds.

The tour ends at Rådhusbrygge 3 by the City Hall.
