Discover two great California beaches during Feel SoCal: An Adventurous California Tour in Dana Point and Huntington Beach!
With your Feel SoCal: An Adventurous California Tour tickets, you’ll enjoy a day that’s filled with outdoor activities, tasty food, and more. Kick start your day with coffee and a pastry before gearing up for a kayaking adventure. Then, make your way to the harbor to stop in at a popular food joint for a yummy, local treat. Afterwards, step inside the Ocean Institute and learn about the local marine animals. You’ll be enjoying a beautiful hike in the Headlands, too, which is what to do in Orange County!
Then, make your way from Dana Point to Pedego Electric Bikes Huntington Beach and meet your guide. Pedal your way down Pacific Coast Highway before making stops at Bolsa Chica Beach and Sunset Beach to check out the surfers. Here, you’ll learn all about the surf culture at the International Surfing Museum. Afterwards, make your way to the oldest brewery for a complimentary local beer.
The confirmation voucher includes the local activity operator’s contact details. They’re a nice bunch and will happily answer any logistical questions you may have. Please give them a call at least 24 hours before your organized activity to reconfirm.
No need to print! If you are travelling with a smartphone or a tablet, you can present the voucher on your device for this activity.
So there is no last minute rush, please arrive 15 minutes early.
If you have your voucher, your booking is confirmed. We'll see you at the start point. Get in touch if you have any concerns or require more information via the email address or phone number (business hours only) on your voucher.
This is a tour which involves a lot of outdoor activities like hiking, cycling, kayaking, etc. So, dress accordingly. You might also want to bring something warm for when the temperature dips in the evening.
Bring along swimming clothes for the kayaking activity.
There is an opportunity to change clothes before the kayaking tour. There will be restrooms along the way, but please bring a water bottle to refill and comfortable walking shoes. You can safely leave your personal belongings at the kayak rental location while we are out on the water. The guide will give clear instructions on how to enter, use and exit your kayak if you are inexperienced. Please be aware that you might get a bit wet while kayaking.
The walking distance is about 5 miles (8 kilometers) with approximately 50 yards/meters of elevation gain. The walking is spread out over in 6 hours with several breaks.
If the weather is particularly bad, we will be unable to go ahead with the tour.
Children under the age of 12 years will need to sit this one out.
In the unlikely event of the fire pits on the beach not being available, we’ll find an alternative.
We can accommodate vegetarians and other dietary restrictions. Please notify us in advance if you have any dietary requests. You can do so in the “Additional information” box at checkout.
