Curious about where our pub crawls lead us? Here’s a little sneak peak for you!

Lucky Hotel

Engulfed in a grand history dating back to the 1800s, the McCloy Group did a fantastic job of restoring the original facade in 2014 and bringing this famous establishment back to life. Lucky offers a headily luminous mix of the old and new with an undeniable heritage contrasted against elegant modern designs and features.

Foghorn Brewhouse

Bringing craft brewing and locally sourced food to the heart of Newcastle, Foghorn will delight you with their restored historic industrial building as well as some genuine, handmade, and local brews that are treat for taste buds.

The Hop Factory

A locally-owned family business with a dream to use their hospitality experience in a marvellous craft beer and burger restaurant, the Hop Factory is a second to none choice when it comes to micro brewed beer suitably paired with great food and a superb atmosphere. In fact, they also house a stellar array of Hunter Valley wines, fantastic cocktails, spirits, ciders and ginger beers as well as a constantly changing range of bottled beers.

The Grain Store Craft Beer Cafe

Located in Newcastle’s food and cafe hub of the Historic East End, the Cafe is a brilliant place to experience craft beer and food pairings amidst a gorgeous setting that includes high ceilings, Art Deco tiling and timber flooring. Oozing character and style with every wall narrating a story, the Grain Store boasts a tap list totalling 21, featuring 100% independently owned and Australian crafts, making it one of the largest Craft Beer tap lists in the country.

About the Supplier: One of our favourite associates (we mean, come on, who doesn’t like beer?) in offering unique experiences is Dave’s Travel Group who offer exclusively-crafted brewery tours and other culinary trails. With a simple philosophy which is “all about showing you local as we love it all; food, drinks, history, and culture”, they are known for bringing people together to taste and experience the craftsmanship of local Aussie producers - whether  it’s on a behind the scenes brewery tour or a walk back in time through our pub culture on a pub walk or even a coffee and dessert trail.
