With your Green Mountain Tour: Climb up to a part of the Green Mountain that was only accessible by donkey for thousands of years: Sayq Plateau. But first, encounter your friendly and knowledgeable guide in front your Muscat hotel and hop into an 4WD vehicle. Drive through the Sumail Gap, a noticeable split in the mountain range that separates the eastern and western Al Hajar Mountains. It’s what to do in Muscat if you want to escape the city!

Pass through the quaint town of Izik and have a look at the daily lives of local villagers before arriving at the Sayq Plateau. At Jebel Akhdar, ‘Green Mountain’, soak in nature's primordial beauty and enjoy the cool climate of the mountains. Sit down to a delicious Omani meal at a popular, local eatery. Then, take a leisurely stroll through the exquisite hanging gardens. And finally, explore a popular Green Mountain attraction: The magical, mountain village of Soqra. The vehicle will arrive anytime between 55 and 15 minutes before your scheduled tour, unless there have been some unavoidable circumstances, such as traffic conditions, mishap, or in case of any other delay.

So there is no last minute rush, please be ready 20 minutes before your departure time. The vehicle will wait a maximum of 10 minutes for a guest before proceeding on to the next pick-up location.

We advise you to give us the local contact, email, or mobile number of the proprietor where you are staying. The duty of our customer service is to reconfirm and receive accurate information of your location.

Each safari vehicle can carry 4 passengers.

Since our safaris involve off-road driving, pregnant woman and people with heart problems or other conditions that cause sensitivity to rough riding will undertake the tour at their own risk.

Children’s below 4 years of age are under their parents’ responsibility during safaris.

Smoking is prohibited in all our vehicles.

Before photographing any local residents, kindly ask their permission.
