  • Overview

Koh Samui is as exotic and beautiful as it can get and we bet you won’t find another who would not agree! This short and sweet tour of Samui is the perfect opportunity to treat yourself to the island’s raw beauty that is sure to leave you mesmerised, including incredible viewpoints, coconut plantations, temples, markets and more.

Setting the tone for our amazing journey, our first stop is the astonishing Hin Ta Hin Yai - also known as the Grandfather's Grandmother's Rocks - a cluster of weirdly-shaped natural rock formations near Lamai Beach. Although they look bizarre, the rocks offer spectacular views of Samui’s south-eastern coast with its pristine white beaches, turquoise waters and emerald islands. Continuing with our coastal expedition, we will head out to a coconut plantation where you can witness monkeys picking coconuts, quite the unique sight. You can also watch the locals’ skills at making coconut milk with their own hands and even take a shot at doing it yourself as well as treat yourself to deliciously fresh young coconuts.

Having rejuvenated ourselves, we will visit the pretty little Wat Khunaram where you can catch sight of something quite unusual - the mummified body of a monk sitting in a lotus position. Almost as venerated as a Buddhist relic, this temple is one of the most popular attractions of Koh Samui. The ravishing Na Muang Waterfalls are up next. Also known as ‘Purple Waterfalls’ thanks to the purplish shade of the rocky facade, it comprises of two stunning cascades set amidst a breath taking jungle. Our final stop for the day is Nathon, the capital town of Samui, where you can indulge in some shopping at the main markets as well as visit Wat Phra Yai, renowned for the Big Buddha towering over the north eastern coast of the island.
