Kelantan

Experience Kelantan with us

Kelantan is located in the north-eastern corner of Peninsular Malaysia. It has numerous rustic fishing villages, lush paddy fields and pleasant, palm-fringed beaches. Kota Bharu, the state capital and largest town, is a vibrant place with a lot to see and do. The heartbeat of the town can be experienced at the central market where women traders sell exotic spices, sweetmeats, cakes, seafood, preserved foods, fruits and vegetables and local handicrafts. Gelanggang Seni is the cultural centre where you will find spinning tops, giant kites, drums and enjoy cultural performances such as shadow play and traditional dances. The Royal Museum , Handicraft Village and Craft Museum are a not-to-miss. Attractive beaches within easy reach of Kota Bharu include Pantai Cahaya Bulan, Pantai Irama and Pantai Sri Tujuh. Several interesting fishing villages in the area include Sabak Beach and Kuala Besar.
