Your hotel in Jerusalem.
Visit the Mount of Olives, scene of Christ’s famous ‘Sermon’. Walk through the labyrinthine streets of Jerusalem’s Jewish Quarter with its ancient synagogues. See the recently excavated Cardo, a major thoroughfare and bustling commercial center in Roman times. Visit the Wailing Wall, where Jews mourn the destruction of the Temple and the tragedies that have befallen their community. Walk the Via Dolorosa (Way of the Cross) and visit the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.
Move on to Bethlehem to see the Fields where the shepherds are believed to have seen the star and the angel that heralded the Nativity. Stop at Christendom’s holiest site – the ancient Church of the Nativity, marking the spot where Jesus was born.
Whatever your beliefs, this is an experience that cannot leave you unmoved as you visit the ‘prayer-soaked walls’ and sacred destinations venerated by three of the world’s great religions.
