With The D You Must See tickets, you’ll find out what’s hot in Detroit! Discover some unexpected delights in the city with your local guide. If you have a sweet tooth, you’ll enjoy authentic baklava in the Greektown District. Or, head over to the legendary Lafayette Coney Island hot dog diner for a local favorite: A chilli-topped hot dog with mustard and onion. Make the most of your Detroit experience by travelling on the sleek and comfortable elevated train: The “People Mover”. Then, head over to the Civic Center area and check out some of the city’s best sculptures before viewing the colossal Renaissance Center. You can even see Canada from here! Then, admire the 47-storied Penobscot Building before marvelling at one of the most beautiful art deco buildings in the country: the Guardian Building. The confirmation voucher includes the local activity operator’s contact details. They’re a nice bunch and will happily answer any logistical questions you may have. Please give them a call at least 24 hours before your organized activity to reconfirm.

There will be a considerable amount of walking. Carry along an umbrella in case it rains.

On the occasional day when a steady heavy rain might dampen the mood on a walking tour, we will start from the same location but we will stay dry by riding the People Mover.

On a very rare occasion, the People Mover or one of the venues that we usually visit may be unavailable.

Children between the ages of 6 and 11 years are permitted on this tour at the rate listed above. Please select “child” above when booking. Children under the age of 6 years can join this tour free of charge. Please inform us at the time of booking if you’ll be bringing a child under the age of 6 years. You can do so in the special request box on the checkout page.
