Kovalam has three big adjacent crescent beaches namely the Lighthouse Beach, Hawah beach and Samudra beach. Hawah beach has the distinction of being India’s first topless beach. Although not allowed anymore except in private coves owned by resorts, it is nonetheless, a great attraction. Kovalam is also famous for its scenic beauty and range of water sports.
You will be picked up from the airport/railway station at Trivandrum, now called Thiruvananthapuram and will travel in an air-conditioned vehicle to hotel Uday Samudra. You will stay in an 'exotica room' as per the hotel's classification. Located on the Samudra beach, the hotel offers a wonderful panoramic view of the Arabian Sea.
