Activity Overview

Discover the charming town of Szentendre, also called as the southern gate of the Danube Bend. A small baroque Mediterranean feel town, Szentendre is the cultural hub of Pest County, with dozens of museums in the city center.

Soak in the tranquility of the countryside, only 45-minutes away from Budapest, explore interesting art galleries and museums such as the unmissable Micro Art Wonder Museum, marvel at the number of galleries, performers, and musicians on the street and see the life- size marzipan sculpture of Lady Diana in the Marzipan Museum.

Before the boat leaves Szentendre, you can visit some other museums (e.g., Margit Kovács Ceramic Museum exl. the tour). At the end of the tour, you will return to Budapest by public scheduled boat (May to September and only on Friday-Saturday-Sunday).

The tour ends at the Pier / City Centre.

The boat return is only available on Friday, Saturday, Sunday. On Tuesday, Thursday the return is with bus.
