  • Overview & Itinerary

Take a cruise around the ancient town of Dalyan and discover its beautiful beaches, healing thermal spas, rich history and endangered species.

At the pristine Istuzu beach you can see the famous Caretta Caretta turtles, an endangered species. Further in you can relax in natural thermal springs which have been used for healing since the 2nd century B.C. You can also visit one of the area’s archeological sites – an ancient cemetery from the 9th century.

As you travel from place to place you can enjoy the sun on the deck of your comfortable boat. A buffet style lunch will be served on board.

You will be picked up from your hotel in Bodrum in an air-conditioned coach for your Dalyan Tour tour by your multilingual (German, Flemish, French, Polish and English) guide.

You’ll stop for breakfast (payable direct) on the way to Dalyan. The journey from Bodrum to Dalyan is approximately 3.5 hours.

After arriving in Dalyan, you’ll board the boat for your cruise. There will be a stop at Istuzu Beach, which is famous for its Caretta Caretta Turtles. The Caretta Caretta turtle is an endangered species. The beach is part of their natural habitat.

In Dalyan there are thermal springs and mud baths. At the beach you’ll be given free time for bathing at the springs and mud bathing (included). Both the thermal springs and mud baths contain sulfur and are approximately 40 degrees Celsius. The thermal springs have been used for healing since the Hellenistic times. These treatments are used to treat rheumatism as well as cleanse and beautify the skin. Cover yourself in mud, let in dry, and then rinse off in the thermal pool.

Lunch will be an open buffet on the boat. Drinks with your meal are payable direct.

Your meal includes chicken or meat, rice salad, chips and different mezes.

Nearby Dalyan is the 9th century remains of the ancient cemetery from Caunos, which was once the name for Dalyan. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to see its famous stone tombs in the mountainous cemetery.
