Overview

This half day tour of Corinth will take you on a magical journey back to Greece’s incredible heritage. Ancient Corinth was one of the most important cities back in the days, sitting halfway between Athens and Sparta. Out first stop for the day is the picturesque Corinth Canal where we will make a quick stop, letting you soak in the serene views. Moving on, we will arrive at the ruins of the ancient city which is shrouded in myths and legends. Corinth was home to St. Paul for a while where he lived and preached for a couple of years, captured in the Bible’s Book of Corinthians. The city also gave birth to the legend of Jason and Medea, and the myth of the Golden Fleece. Our guide will fill you in with all the fascinating tales of this antique city.

While at Corinth, you will get the chance to explore two iconic locations in Greece - the majestic Temple of Apollo and the Agora, a traditional place for gatherings. Standing at one of the highest points in Athens, not only is it steeped in an intriguing history but it also offers some spectacular views of the area right up to the Gulf of Corinth. On our way back, you will also visit the beautiful port of Kechries where St. Paul was believed to have disembarked. The entire tour is a fantastic journey back to the glorious days of the Greeks, an enriching experience that has no match!
