A tour of the city of Arles is highly-recommended for every visitor to Provence. Popularly known as the city of festivals, art and culture, you can stroll around and see the sites that were once captured on the canvas by legendary painter Vincent Van Gogh.
Popularly known as the ‘Florence of Provence’, Aix is defined by its architectural beauty, handsome private mansions and squares bursting with wild blooms. It is also a renowned centre for art, culture and music.
Long boulevards and quaint narrow streets, cosy squares and fountains, are typical of Nimes. Explore its churches and the famous Amphitheatre, popular as a smaller copy of the ‘Coliseum of Rome’.

Aix was the capital of Provence in the 19th century and is popularly known as the ‘Florence of Provence’. As you take a tour of the city, you will come across beautiful houses, private mansions, city squares bursting with flowers, shaded narrow streets and ancient fountains.
Arles is the largest city in France on the banks of the Rhone river, surrounded by the arid plains of Crau. See the famous Roman amphitheatre, the Romanesque Cathedral and the places painted by Van Gogh: La maison jaune, Le café la nuit, Le jardin de l’hôtel Dieu.
The ancient city of Nimes is popularly visited in the southeast region of France. An erstwhile Roman colony, it has flourished to an important trading centre. You could visit the Amphitheatre located in the centre of Nimes. Built in the 1st century BC, it was constructed for entertainments such as animal and gladiator combats. Fabricated out of stone without mortar, it is still used for cultural, musical, bullfights and sporting events.
After a tour around these beautiful cities, you will be dropped back to your hotel.
