The tour starts from the bus parking near Zurich Main Train Station (Stop: Sihlquai, Streetcar: 4, 13). You will be picked up in an air-conditioned coach and journey over the Brunig Pass (1008 meters) to the Bernese Oberland. A multilingual guide speaking English, German and Spanish will accompany you on this tour.
The Bernese Oberland is one of Switzerland’s most spectacularly beautiful regions in the canton of Bern. Visit the impressive 1400-meter-high Aare Gorges and walk on a secure footbridge and tunnels cut through the rocks.
Further on, ascend through the wild landscape of Grimsel Pass at a height of 2165 meters. It is a Swiss high mountain pass between the valley of the Rhone river in the canton of Bern. The Grimsel Pass is located near the Rhone Glacier.
Continue to the Rhone Glacier at a height of 2300 meters, one of the biggest glaciers of the Alps. You can walk to the glacier on a mountain trail and see the Ice Cave, an artificial glacier cave.
After a coffee break (optional), take on the Furka Pass at a height of 2431 meters. Proceed via Realp through the Urseren Valley to Andermatt and through the Schollenen gorges with the legendary Devil’s Bridge at the foot of the St. Gotthard Mountain.
After exploring the famous Swiss mountain passes, return by coach to Zurich. The tour ends at the coach parking near Zurich Main Train Station.
