Overview

This tour is perfect for a quick overview of Zurich and the breath-taking surrounding landscape! Lasting around four hours, the tour takes you first to Zurich's main attractions, such as St Peter's Church and the Guild Houses of Zurich's Old Town.

After a tour of Zurich, you'll travel along Gold Coast, the shore of Lake Zurich, taking in the beautiful view before hopping on a cable-car to Felsenegg, one of the best lookout points in Zurich.

What's the plan:

This tour starts from the Sihlquai bus terminal. Following that, accompanied by a multi-lingual guide speaking English and Spanish, you will be taken on a city tour of Zurich.

You will be shown the main sites of Zurich including the Old Town, St. Peter’s Church - the largest church clock-face in Europe, the world-famous Bahnhofstrasse (station street), one of the world’s most expensive and exclusive shopping avenues. Visit the popular Limmatquai and you will come across elegant old Guild Houses. Make a photo stop at the harbour and enjoy incredible views of Lake Zurich, the city and surrounding hills.

Take a short walk through the Old Town and pass through old-guild houses. Visit the Fraumünster Church, founded in 853 AD by King Louis the German. The church was largely patronized by the kings and had the right to mint coins in Zurich until the 13th century. Appreciate its stunning stained glass windows by renowned French painter, Marc Chagall.

Heading out of the city, the journey continues along the “Gold Coast” to Meilen where you board the ferry and cross the pristine waters of Lake of Zürich to Horgen. Continue to Adliswil for a 5-minute cable car ride to Felsenegg (800 metres), where you can enjoy beautiful views over Zurich.

Return by coach to Zurich and tour ends at the Sihlquai bus parking (which is near Zurich main train station).

Please note that the aerial cable car ride will be replaced by cogwheel railway “Dolderbahn” to viewpoint during spring maintenance in March 2023.
