Itinerary

Tablao de Carmen is located in the Poble Espanyol in the Montjuic tourist zone. Guests must make their own arrangements to the venue, there is plenty of public transport and taxis available to choose from. The closest Metro and Bus stop is Espanya.

Enjoy a wonderful evening watching a Tablao de Carmen Flamenco show, now in its 18th successive year. It is set in a unique and dramatic environment establishing the mood and atmosphere so necessary to this dance form. The layout of the Tablao de Carmen is like a small theatre, with a capacity of approximately 170 persons.

There is no formal choreography, just individual improvisation by the dancers with the back up artists and audience marking the rhythm by clapping or foot stamping.

Audience participation is a very integral part of the show. As a result no two shows are ever the same. Your participation makes all the difference!

You have the choice of enjoying dinner with the Barcelona Flamenco show, those choosing this option will be treated to a wonderful feast of fine Barcelona tapas.

At the end of the evening plenty of taxis will be available to take you back to your hotel or to enjoy the wonderful Barcelona nightlife; simply walk down the hill to Plaza d’Espanya.
