There is no hotel pick-up. Please make your own way to Reichstag, West Portal, main entrance. A bilingual photographer-guide (English and German-speaking) will accompany you on this tour.
The first stop of the tour will be at Hotel Adlon, with the French and US Embassies located close by. This is a good place to watch and photograph street performers of every kind.
After a five-minute walk following the former borderline between East and West-Berlin, you will reach the Holocaust Memorial. For the skilled photographer it provides endless sights: 2711 stelas, narrow alleys, surprisingly appearing and disappearing people in the labyrinth.
Next to the Memorial, is Berlin's new city centre, the Potsdamer Platz. This area is dominated by high-rises of every sort and have some of the best architecture in the city.
The Sony Centre’s roof construction, looking like big sails from below and like Japan's mount Fuji from the distance, is an absolute must for all photography lovers.
Your knowledgeable guide will also advise you on restaurants serving the world's food and, of course, typical German and Berlin specialities, within the Sony Centre.
An overall view of Berlin from top of the high-rises in Potsdamer Platz ends this tour.
