For your Vienna Boys Choir experience you will be picked up from your hotel and taken to Musikverein, the concert venue, in an air conditioned mini coach.
The performance takes place in the Brahms Hall, home of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, one of the most beautiful chamber music halls in Austria.
The celebrated Vienna Boys' Choir is a choir of about 100 trebles and altos. The boys are selected mainly from Austria, but also from other countries, and individually interviewed.
The origins of the choir date back to the Middle Ages when a boy’s choir used to sing at the Viennese Court. These days the boys are divided into four touring choirs, which perform about 300 concerts each year in front of almost 500,000 people.
You will be treated to a medley of music and song from these talented young musicians with accompaniment from the Viennese Chamber Orchestra. As well as religious music and works of Mozart they will probably perform a variety of songs from around the world.
The activity ends at the Musikverein and you need to make your own arrangements for getting back to your accommodation.
