There are two options for your Dinner and Concert in Vienna:
Mozart Concert in Historical Costumes
Mozart/Strauss Concert at the Kursalon
Mozart Concert in Historical Costumes:
Make your way to Operngasse 2-4, where you will meet your guide. Please arrive at the meeting point at around 1815h (06:15pm) so that you can receive an important briefing about the evening program.
At 1830h (06:30pm) you will walk to the 'Augustinerkeller' restaurant which is just 5 minutes from the meeting point. This historic restaurant opened in 1857 and operates from the basement of one of Vienna's grand palaces. Augustinerkeller has a lively atmosphere and specializes in traditional Viennese food.
Your three-course dinner will include:
• Vegetable soup
• Viennese Schnitzel (chicken) with mashed potatoes and salad
• Apple strudel
You will also enjoy a complimentary glass of wine with your meal.
At 1930h (07:30pm) you will leave the restaurant and board a vehicle which will take you to Musikverein for the concert. The concert begins at 2015 (08:15pm) and continues until 2200h (10:00pm). There is a 15 minute interval starting at 2100h (09:00pm).
You will enjoy a selection of many of Mozart's most popular melodies played by the Vienna Mozart Orchestra in period costumes.
This option also includes a CD of the Mozart Orchestra worth €19. When the concert ends you will need to make your own arrangements to return to your accommodation.
Mozart/Strauss Concert at the Kursalon:
It takes place at the Kursalon and you will hear the Salonorchester Alt Wien playing mainly works by Johann Strauss and other composers of his time.
In all other respects, the schedule for the evening is the same as the Dinner and Mozart Concert option except that there is no complimentary CD included.
When the concert ends you will need to make your own arrangements to return to your accommodation.
