Star Homes & Trolley Tour

This excursion combines an exclusive tour of the lavish homes of the great and famous with an enjoyable trolley bus sightseeing trip. At the start of this enjoyable day out, you will be picked up from your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle. An English-speaking guide will accompany you.

Your fully narrated 2-hour tour takes you past more than 40 breath-taking mansions in glamorous Beverly Hills and Bel Air.

Star homes you are likely to see include those of Tom Cruise, Ozzie Osbourne, Madonna, Jackie Chan, Nicolas Cage, Dr. Phil, Sean Connery, Angelina Jolie, George Marciano (best known as the founder of ‘Guess’ Clothing line), Peter Falk, and Bob Barker.

You may also pass the former estates of such legends as Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, Frank Sinatra, Lucille Ball, Gregory Peck, Jack Benny, Judy Garland, Humphrey Bogart, Lauren Bacall, and see some of your favorite TV and movie locations.

On the way, you'll cruise the Sunset Strip, the mile and a half stretch of Sunset Boulevard that passes through West Hollywood. The legendary Strip is lined with boutiques, restaurants, rock clubs and night clubs. You will also be driven along the world famous Rodeo Drive, where the rich and famous do their shopping.

At the end of your celebrity homes tour, you will board an open-top trolley and set off on a fully narrated 1 hour tour of historic Hollywood movie, TV and radio landmarks.

You will find that the trolley is perfect for picture-taking, so do make sure you have your camera with you!

You will drive past key entertainment industry locations like Paramount Studios, Capitol Records, KTLA Channels, CBS, FOX, Warner Bros., Pantages Theater, Nickelodeon and Palladium, as well as the filming locations of L.A. Confidential, Twins, ‘Pretty Woman’ and more.

Your tour includes a 10-minute photo-stop at the Hollywood Bowl, the 18,000-seat amphitheatre that has been the scene of some of the most memorable musical moments in Los Angeles history.

And you will have a 5-minute photo-stop at the iconic Hollywood Sign, which spells out the name of the area in 15m white letters on the side of Mount Lee.

You will also drive past Hollywood's Walk of Fame, where more than 2,500 bronze-inlaid stars commemorate some of the most famous individuals in movies, radio, TV, recording and theater.

At the end of your tour, you will be dropped back at your hotel.

Star Homes & Double-decker Tour

Like the excursion described above, this tour starts with the movie stars’ homes tour, but instead of the trolley tour, you will take an hour’s fully narrated trip in a double-decker bus.

There will be no photo-stops but the height of the Double-decker Bus gives you the perfect vantage point for taking beautiful pictures.

You will drive past famous CBS radio and studios such as Gower Studio, KTLA, and Paramount, see landmarks like the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the Hollywood Sign.

Your route passes the amazing La Brea Tar Pits, where natural tar oozes from the ground in a series of pits. Over millennia these sticky pits have trapped great number of animals, which are preserved as bones.

You will also drive past the charming Farmers' Market with its cream-colored buildings and green roofs and brick-colored trim, where dozens of small shops and stalls are linked by a warren of passageways.

Another fun place is Melrose Avenue, a quirky, funky street where the hip and trendy go to see and be seen.

Your route also includes the historically Jewish neighborhood of Fairfax District and La Brea Avenue, known for its museums, stores and eateries.

At the end of your tour, you will be dropped back at your hotel.
