There are two options for your sightseeing tour: Hollywood Trolley Tour or Double Decker Fun Tour.
Hollywood Trolley Tour:
Please make your own way to the meeting point at Grauman's Chinese Theatre.
Boarding the open-air trolley, you will set off on a fully narrated 1 hour tour of historic Hollywood movie, TV and radio landmarks.
You will find that the trolley is perfect for picture-taking, so do make sure you have your camera with you!
You will drive past key entertainment industry locations like Paramount Studios, Capitol Records, KTLA Channels, CBS, FOX, Warner Bros., Pantages Theater, Nickelodeon and Paladium, as well as the filming locations of L.A. Confidential, Twins, Pretty Woman and more.
Your tour includes a 10-minute photo-stop at the Hollywood Bowl, the 18,000-seat amphitheatre that has been the scene of some of the most memorable musical moments in Los Angeles history.
And you will have a 5-minute photo-stop at the iconic Hollywood Sign. This celebrated landmark spells out the name of the area in 50 foot white letters on the side of Mount Lee. It was created as an advertisement in 1923, but gained increasing popularity and recognition after the sign was left up.
You will also drive past Hollywood's Walk of Fame, where more than 2,500 bronze-inlaid stars commemorate some of the most famous individuals in movies, radio, TV, recording and theater. Celebrities are added frequently.
At the end of your tour, you will be dropped back at the starting point.
Double Decker Fun Tour:
This tour, also fully narrated, departs from the same point as the above and lasts around 1 hour.
You will cover some of the same sights as the trolley tour. There will be no photo-stops but the height of the Double Decker Bus gives you the perfect vantage point for taking beautiful pictures.
You will drive past famous CBS radio and studios such as Gower Studio, KTLA, and Paramount, see landmarks like the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the Hollywood Sign.
Your route passes the amazing La Brea Tar Pits, where natural tar oozes from the ground in a series of pits. Over millennia these sticky pits have trapped numerous animals, including mammoths and sabre-toothed tigers, which are preserved as bones.
You will also drive past the charming Farmers' Market with its cream-colored buildings and green roofs and brick-colored trim, where dozens of small shops and stalls are linked by a warren of passageways.
Another fun place is Melrose Avenue, a quirky, funky street where the hip and trendy go to see and be seen.
Your route also includes the historically Jewish neighborhood of Fairfax District and La Brea Avenue, known for its museums, stores and eateries.
At the end of your tour, you will be dropped back at the starting point.
