There are two options for your exciting trip: Disney Adventures from Los Angeles (Standard) and Disney Adventures from Los Angeles (Extended).
Disney Adventures from Los Angeles (Standard):
For this exciting day out you have to come to the Grauman's Chinese Theatre located at 6925 Hollywood Blvd at 9:00 am and picked up in an air-conditioned coach and will be driven to the Disneyland Resort.
It's the Golden 50th Anniversary of Disneyland park and the entire Disneyland Resort is celebrating with a huge party – the ‘Happiest Homecoming on Earth’ event – extending across the two fabulous theme parks: Disneyland park and Disney's California Adventure Park.
Your ticket gives you admission to one of these theme parks, where you can join the grand celebrations. You can decide on the day which park you will visit.
To mark this golden moment in Disney history, an exciting new attraction is being added to each of the Resort's parks.
InDisneyland park, the interactive Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters put you in command of your very own Star Cruiser. Blast away at targets and rack up points as you battle the Evil Emperor Zurg! And of course, the biggest celebration in Disney history will also feature an amazing new fireworks show, a spectacular new parade, and many more surprises!
Plus there are 60 other attractions in Disneyland park just waiting for you to come and play. Take a heart-stopping, adrenalin-pumping ride on the Indiana Jones Adventure. Or dive into the ocean depths and join the Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage.
Meet the Pirates of the Caribbean, explore Splash Mountain, the Matterhorn or the Haunted Mansion. Or why not take a Jungle Cruise?
And don’t forget to save time for your favorite characters – Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, Pluto, Winnie the Pooh and all the others – who are waiting impatiently for you.
Over in Disney's California Adventure park, play, party and dance with your favorite Disney/Pixar pals in Block Party Bash, the wildest, most interactive parade in Disney history! Groove to fun party songs, delight to amazing acrobatics, and laugh along with the Pixar Film Pals as they explode onto the streets of Disney's California Adventure park. The energy of this show-stopping, musical parade extravaganza will have you exclaiming, ‘What a party!’
Speaking of parties, the Downtown Disney District turns any day into a reason to celebrate! Located at the heart of the Disneyland Resort, the Downtown Disney District offers entertainment, dining and shopping opportunities for the whole family.
At night you can see fireworks and other special night treats. It's perfect for those who want to see everything in one visit. Whether you've been to the Disneyland Resort before, or this is your first visit, this is the year to be here!
Your ‘Standard’ option is available from September to May and gives you 8 wonderful hours in the Resort. The coach will pick you up at around 7:00pm and you will be taken back to your hotel.
Disney Adventures from Los Angeles (Extended):
This option is exactly the same as the one described above except that it runs in the peak season from June through August. With this option you get to spend around 10½ fantastic hours in the Resort, which gives you plenty of time to enjoy all the fireworks displays and other evening activities.
Your coach will pick you up at around 10:00pm and you will be taken back to Grauman's Chinese Theatre.
