Marina Mall: One of the most popular mall in Abu Dhabi, it is a beautifully designed mall situated amidst tented courtyards and fountains. The mall houses about 270 stores, from high street to high-end fashion. If not shopping, you can enjoy the view of the high rising buildings lining up the Corniche Road.
Emirates Palace Hotel: One of the finest hotels in the world, it was the most expensive hotel ever built when completed in 2005. The hotel boasts about 302 rooms, 92 suites, 114 domes, 140 elevators and 2000 staff. The interior of the hotel is decorated with marble and huge chandeliers. The hotel also has the world’s first gold vending machine which dispenses over 300 pure-gold products.
The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque: One of the most recognisable landmarks in Abu Dhabi, the Sheikh Zayad Grand Mosque is a remarkable symbol of Islamic architecture with pristine white domes and minarets. The Mosque features 82 domes all decorated with white marble and 1,000 marble columns each inlaid with semi-precious stones. The prayer halls are bedecked with Italian white marble inlaid with floral designs and the Mosque’s interior walls have decorative gold-glass mosaics. It is one of the only two mosques in the UAE open to non-Muslims.
The Corniche: Some of Abu Dhabi’s best sandy beaches are located on this road extending 6 km or 4 miles along the waterfront. The modern building serves as a beautiful backdrop to the Corniche. It has some fantastic amenities: A cycling track, running track, childrens’ play areas, volleyball courts, swimming areas and picnic tables.
Yas Island: The home of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, visit Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, the world’s largest indoor theme park with 20 attractions, including the world’s fastest rollercoaster. The island also features world-class hotels, golf courses, marinas, polo clubs, and food and beverage outlets.
Abu Dhabi Mall: One of the largest malls in the city is connected to the 5-star Beach Rotana Hotel. It comprises more than 200 stores, including a Cineplex, supermarkets, and a hypermarket. There are more than 40 food outlets within the mall, making it a great lunch time stop off on the tour.
Heritage Village: Get acquainted with Abu Dhabi’s early history and Bedouin tradition in the Heritage Village, which overlooks the Corniche. It consists of picturesque huts, workshops where you can see local artisans at work and a market selling traditional handicrafts.
