Our tips for Terengganu

  • Beach day during a weekday: If you’re trying to avoid a crowded beach, then a weekday is best. Weekends are when the local families descend to the beaches.
  • Enjoy the good food: For a top night of culinary fun, head to Chinatown Hawker Centre. There’s a range of food stands with Malay and Chinese dishes. You really can’t go wrong.

Good to know

For the best of days, head to the region in May, it’s a little cooler during this period of the year. If you want days to be as long as possible, the summer is your best bet, but the temperatures are much higher during this time. It can get very uncomfortable during this time.
