• Torre del Oro: It is a military watchtower built during the Almohad dynasty in order to gain control on the city via the Guadalquivir river. The tower served as a prison during the middle ages. Today, it houses a naval museum containing engravings, historic documents, models and instruments.

• Parque Tematico Isla Magica: Situated on the banks of the Guadalquivir river, the Isla Magica theme park transports visitors to the 16th century cities with gathering of knights, Amazon rainforest to pirates’ haunts. The park has numerous roller coasters, water slides, free fall towers and visits to fortresses and galleons.

• Monasterio de la Cartuja: It is a grand monastery where composer Frederic Chopin and his lover George Sand spent their ‘winter of discontent’. The monastery is surrounded by lovely gardens and affords splendid view of the surrounding landscape.
