  • Overview & Itinerary

The San Francisco Segway Night Tour gives you the opportunity to experience San Francisco in a spectacular way. Segway tours are the most sensational way to see the city by the bay. Under the night sky, the city will unveil itself like never before as you glide your way in a segway, covering the major landmarks of the city.

This small group tour is conducted by an English speaking guide, who will take you around the city and share interesting anecdotes and stories. The sites to be covered are North Beach Little Italy, Chinatown and Fisherman’s Wharf & Waterfront.

Make sure you have your camera ready as you will get plenty of photo opportunities along the way.

You will meet your guide at 757 Beach Street, San Francisco CA, 94109, where he will be waiting on a segway. You will undergo a 40 minute training session with your guide on how to ride the segway and few safety tips.

Get, set, go for a wonderful tour as you make your way along the illuminated streets and look for best views and hidden locations. You will also stop at places which can provide you with beautiful backdrops for those memorable photographs you will take.

Some of the major highlights of the tours are as follows:

North Beach Little Italy: This famous culinary destination prides itself on authentic Italian fare and bustles with activity both day and night. Stop in Washington Square Park, near St. Peter and Paul Church, and learn about the authentic Beat Generation in North Beach.

Chinatown: A veritable city within a city. Cruise through historic Chinatown and past hidden alleys in the largest Chinese community outside of Asia. As the tour moves farther east, enjoy romantic night views of the Transamerica Pyramid and the Ferry Building.

Fisherman’s Wharf & Waterfront: See hidden gems like Fish Alley, Fisherman’s Chapel, a WWII Liberty Ship, and the Pampanito submarine. Pause to take in breathtaking night time views of the Alcatraz Lighthouse and the twinkling lights of the Bay Bridge.

Before returning to Fisherman’s Wharf, the tour will loop back from the edge of the Financial District and along the breath talking Water Front. Cruise past historic piers along the Embarcadero while the San Francisco Bay glitters against the night. Return to the starting point, and perhaps visit the Buena Vista Café after the tour ends for a taste of their famous Irish coffee.
