Overview

No visit to Marrakech is complete without exploring the colourful souks (open-air markets). This tour concentrates on Djemaa el-Fna, a huge square in the medina and one of the most popular Marrakech attractions. Here open-air food stalls serve authentic Moroccan cuisine and traditional entertainers such as snake charmers vie for your attention.

Watch traditional artisans at work. The souk has a variety of shops selling hand-crafted slippers, traditional woodwork, brass, iron and bronze artefacts, jewellery, kaftans, carpets, spices and pottery.

Itinerary

This tour will start with a pick up from your hotel in Marrakech. Accompanied by an English-speaking guide, you will be taken on a shopping tour to the colourful souks (market places) of Marrakech.

Explore the market, which is divided into smaller souks according to goods sold, this grand labyrinth features hand-crafted Moroccan good such as babouche slippers, woodworks, brassworks, ironworks, bronzeworks, jewellery, kaftans, carpets, spices, and pottery.

You will also be able to visit the best galleries for leather, antiques and hand crafted gold jewellery. Enjoy the Moroccan shopping at your own pace, without becoming lost.

At the end of the tour you will return to your Marrakech hotel.
