Explore Auschwitz and Birkenau, the concentration and extermination camps where the European Jewish community during World War II were systematically annihilated by the Nazis.
Learn about one of the most notorious periods of humankind's history. You will see authentic crematories, gas chambers, and barracks. Auschwitz is visited by millions of people every year where they walk through the gate with the inscription: “Arbeit Macht Frei” (Work sets you free).
Your guide will take you through the Auschwitz I and II-Birkenau concentration camps, explaining the significance of each site along the way. See artifacts that remain from the Holocaust, including personal belongings of prisoners and photos of those who perished.

As per the requirements of Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum, all participants are required to provide their full name and contact details as part of the booking process. Entrance may be refused if the name provided on the booking is not identical to the name on the ID provided when entering.
Please arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.
The Senior ticket is valid with ID that contains a picture and date of birth. Student ticket is valid only with a student ID that contains a picture, date of birth, and university name.
Minor delays (20 minutes) are possible due to traffic conditions in Krakow.
All travelers are required to carry their passports.
The tour begins with climbing down 380 steps and the regular tour does not include the lift that takes you down. Please wear comfortable shoes as the tour requires a lot of walking.
The tour is not suitable for pregnant travelers and travelers with mobility issues.
