Hop On Hop Off Buses operate daily between 9:00am to 6:00pm; every 15-20 minutes.

To join the hop on hop off bus tour, visitors must show a validated OMNIA card. To validate the pass holders must enter the date on which they first used their pass.
The operators of the bus tours endeavor to communicate suspensions of service or route changes in case of protest or strike. Suspensions of service or changes in route due to force majeur (unannounced protests and/or strikes) do not give a right of refund.
When you collect their OMNIA Vatican and Rome Pass, you will be able to book a time slot for your visit to the Vatican Museum and St Peter’s Basilica.
Entrances to the Basilica and to the Museums are timed. They are scheduled only in the morning and in the early afternoon, once you enter you may stay at long as you wish.
Visitors must arrive at the meeting point by their allocated time. Late arrivals will be considered no-shows and will not be offered an alternative time slot or refund.
The operators are not responsible for the cancellation of itineraries due to events / conditions out of their control. Such events include, but are not limited to, religious celebrations, security reasons, extraordinary events and extreme weather conditions. In such cases the operators are not obliged to offer a refund but may transfer the booking to another date.
Appropriate clothing is required for visitors who intend to visit churches and/or basilicas. It is mandatory to have shoulders and legs covered.
To use an audio guide visitors are required to provide a valid I.D. The I.D. will be held while the audio guide is on loan, and returned upon safe return of the audio guide. The audio guide must be returned in the same condition as it was received.
No replacement will be given in the event that a pass goes missing, is lost, damaged or destroyed, or if it is stolen or becomes unreadable. The pass will be substituted only in the event that it is deemed to have defects not caused by negligence on the part of the user.
All hop on hop off buses have air conditioning but, being open, they can still remain hot. There are 8 buses in total and 4 of them have an awning on top, so people can choose.
ST PETER’S PRISON, will be closed for Restoration work until further notice.
Disabled Citizens of the European Union and an accompanying person are entitled to free entrance at many sites of Rome; after demonstrating that they are registered with the welfare/medical assistance services, as stated in the “Summary of the rules and regulations governing entry to museums and archaeological sites”. At the Vatican, disabled visitors are granted free entrance on presenting a certificate of invalidity of over 74%.
