Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark is one of Europe’s most fascinating cities. Beautiful gardens, majestic palaces and a lovely coastline make it a visitor’s delight.

As you go sightseeing around the city, you will see The Little Mermaid that sits on the bay in the Oresund in silent homage to Hans Christian Anderson. Another highlight of the tour is the changing of the guard ceremony at the Royal Palace.

This sightseeing tour of Copenhagen is a good way to enjoy the beauty of one of Scandinavia’s largest and most entertaining cities.

Itinerary

This tour starts from the Axeltorv on Vesterbrogade opposite from Tivoli. Travelling in a coach and accompanied by a guide.

On the tour you pass by the Tivoli Gardens and the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek. Drive through the colourful canal district, past the National Museum and Christiansborg Palace, home to the Danish Parliament.

The tour will continue on to The Old Stock Exchange and across Kongens Nytorv, where you can see the Royal Theatre, world famous for its Royal Ballet.

The tour continues past the colourful harbour district of Nyhavn to Amalienborg Palace - winter residence of the Royal Family. Here we have the opportunity of seeing the changing of the Danish Royal Guard.

This is followed by a visit to the Gefion Fountain and The Little Mermaid, inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's fairytale.

During the tour you will visit to one of the many magnificent churches in Copenhagen as well as we pass by Rosenborg Castle, where the Crown Jewels are protected by the Royal Guard.

The tour ends at the Axeltorv on Vesterbrogade.
