Captain Cook’s Cottage: This is a cottage rebuilt in the picturesque Fitzroy Gardens to commemorate the voyages of Captain James Cook, discoverer of Australia.
Queen Victoria Market: This is a historic Melbourne landmark dating back to more than 120 years ago. It is said to be the southern hemisphere’s largest open-air market offering a variety of fresh farm produce. On Sundays, there is a wider range of merchant items which turn the market into a modern Arabian Nights bazaar.
Fitzroy Gardens: These are one of the major 19th century landscaped city gardens in Australia. They are a popular tourist attraction, with historic buildings, sculptures and horticulture.
The Shrine of Remembrance: The Shrine of Remembrance is Victoria's memorial to the men and women who served Australia in armed conflicts throughout our Nation's history.
Albert Park: The park is the focus for many of Victoria's spectacular events and is also an important sanctuary for wildlife and vegetation. It is also home to the Australian Formula One Grand Prix.
Stroll the Royal Botanic Gardens, see the Royal Exhibition Buildings and Federation Square. Visit the Shrine of Remembrance and see the Southbank waterfront precinct. See some of the city's architecture including St. Paul's Cathedral and the Princess and Regent theatres. Cross the Bolte Bridge for great city views.
