You will be dropped off at your hotel in Melbourne
After seeing the city from the ground you will visit the Eureka Skydeck for wonderful panoramas of Melbourne from 300 metres above the ground.
In the afternoon take the short drive to Phillip Island; one of Australia’s richest wildlife habitats. Here you will get to meet a range of wildlife and witness the world-famous Penguin Parade.
The day starts with a Melbourne City tour that will introduce the highlights of this cosmopolitan city, the highlights include:
• St Patrick's Cathedral (inside visit)
• Stop for shopping at Victoria Market
• Fitzroy Gardens (time to wander in the gardens)
Royal Botanical Gardens (time to wander or have a coffee)
• Albert Park (Formula 1 Circuit)
• Town Hall
Having seen the city from street level you will then travel up to the 88th floor Eureka Skydeck from where you will have incredible views of Melbourne from nearly 300 metres in the air.
After the morning city tour you will have some spare time before meeting again outside the Eureka Skydeck to travel to Phillip Island.
It takes around 90 minutes to drive to Phillip Island. On arrival you will visit the Koala Conservation Centre where you can encounter koalas in their natural habitat. Stroll along elevated boardwalks and spot koalas in the trees.
Continue to Seal Rock or the Nobbies, view spectacular coastal scenery at the Nobbies, two rocky outcrops abundant in marine life. From the walkway, see Australia's largest population of fur seals living along the rugged southern coastline. You will also visit the town of Cowes for a stroll along the main road.
Now for the highlight of your day, proceed to Phillip Island Nature Park for the Penguin Parade.This is a unique spectacle of hordes of penguins breaking free of the surf and waddling home across the sand at dusk at Phillip Island. You will also enjoy the use of night vision equipment and headphones for personal commentary.
After the Penguin Parade return to Melbourne where you will be dropped at your hotel.
