Madrid, the capital of Spain, is one of the most important cities in the world. It combines the modern with the cultural, the artistic and the ancient, the result of centuries of captivating history.
On this tour you will see multi-faceted Madrid as she really is. Starting from the Arab-fortress origins to the court days, during the reign of Philip II and that of Charles III, you will see the development of this great city. This is the period when some important building schemes were undertaken and finally, present day Madrid, became one of the most important European capitals.

Tour returns to your original point of departure
You will be picked up from designated meeting point. Accompanied by a guide, you will travel in deluxe air-conditioned coach to explore the Spanish of Spain, Madrid. This city tour will show you many well-known areas, monuments and sights of Madrid. We highlight some of the more interesting places you will see on this tour. We’ll drive past the courtesan district of the Hapsburgs characterised by Phillip II and his Renaissance and Baroque style buildings like those in the Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor and Plaza de la Villa. We will visit the Madrid of the Bourbons and the complex town planning schemes of Charles III, the Royal Palace, Cibeles and Neptuno Fountains and the Puerta de Alcalá. We will admire the works of José Bonaparte in the XIX century, such as the elegant Plaza de Oriente and The Prado Museum. We'll drive past such well-known avenues as those of Gran Vía and Castellana and famous squares such as the the district of Salamanca, Plaza de Castilla, Parque del Oeste, University Campus, commercial and financial zones of Modern Madrid, the emblematic Las Ventas Bullring and the Santiago Bernabéu Football Stadium.. During the tour, we will visit the famous Hard Rock Café. A soft drink is included and will be offered to you when you are there At the end of the tour the bus will return to Plaza de Espana, 7, Madrid.
