The fully-narrated tour takes you from Fisherman’s Wharf through the Presidio, to Crissy Field and over the Golden Gate Bridge. Then it's on to Sausalito, a delightful village with magnificent views of San Francisco across the bay. Next, a photo stop at Fort Baker and then back over the bridge, through the attractive Union Street neighborhood and finally to the Cannery.

This is a small group tour which makes the experience that much more special. Real fireman’s jackets and helmets are provided. They not only keep you warm but make for great photos!

Itinerary

Your 75-minute San Francisco Classic Fire Engine Tour departs from from The Cannery at Fisherman's Wharf at 650 Beach Street.

After meeting your guide, you will board the Shiny Red 1955 Mack Fire Engine. Seating is in the open air, so authentic fire gear (jacket) is provided to keep you warm. The truck seats only 14 people so this is a small group tour, ensuring a much more personal experience

Your guide will provide an entertaining commentary as you head from Fisherman's Wharf to the Presidio, a former military base, now a park and National Historic Landmark. You will see Fort Point at the base of the Golden Gate Bridge.

The tour crosses the Bridge so you can enjoy fantastic views of the Bay (in clear weather!). Hang on tight as it can sometimes be windy. On the other side of the Bay you get the chance to explore the quaint village of Sausalito. Admire the stunning views of San Francisco from Fort Baker before crossing back over the Bridge.

Your return journey takes you through the delightful Union Street neighbourhood and the tour ends back at the Cannery.
