  • Save some bucks: Why not combine your California Academy of Science tickets with a San Francisco Citypass, that way you’ll get to see more of this stunning city and save some bucks. Now that’s a San Fran win right there.
  • It’s better to be late: No need to arrive there at the crack of dawn! Wait for the school parties to disperse and then explore the museum in the afternoon. You’ll be glad you did.

If you can avoid the school holidays and weekends. Also weekday mornings are often full of school trips! Head there in the afternoon at least 2/3 hours before closing, you’ll avoid the school crowds and get to see the exhibits better.
