On this Hop-On Hop-Off tour, you have the freedom to plan your own sightseeing itinerary. With 12 stops covering all of San Francisco’s main attractions such as Fisherman’s Wharf, Civic Center, Union Square, Chinatown, Golden Gate Loop, and Pacific Heights, this tour provides the perfect introduction to San Francisco.
This tour is available in three options:

Your ticket is valid for 24 hours from when you first board one of the buses. The downtown loop runs from 10:00am to 5:00pm around every 15 to 30 minutes and the Golden Gate Loop runs from 9:00am to 4:00pm. Your ticket allows you unlimited use, meaning you can hop-on and hop-off as many times as you like at any of the designated stops! An English-speaking guide will be present on each of the buses.

Fisherman's Wharf and Fisherman's Wharf (Cannery):
Roam the lively piers of Fisherman's Wharf. Catch a ferry to Alcatraz Island, do a little shopping at Pier 39, or marvel at the mock celebrity statues at the Wax Museum. A must-visit are the Maritime Museum and Ghirardelli Square, specially for first time visitors to the city. South of Market and Union Square: The renowned San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA) is located here as is the latest hot spot known as South of Market. Yerba Buena Gardens provides a nice picnic retreat on a sunny day. Market Street and Union Square, with their lavish stores and trendy boutiques are great for both, the window-shopper and the shopaholic alike.
City Hall — Civic Center: San Francisco's beautiful City Hall building was built in 1915. This historic Beaux-Arts monument is open to the public from Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 8:00pm. Fans of opera and the symphony can catch a show at the San Francisco War Memorial Opera House or Davies Symphony Hall. North Beach: The streets of San Francisco's historic Italian district in North Beach area are filled with the appetizing aromas of pizza and cannelloni. Stop and relax with a cup of espresso at any of the friendly café vendors. Explore one of the many bars and restaurants that adorn Columbus Avenue or take a stroll up to Coit Tower. Browse through the famous City Lights bookstore and see the Washington Square.
Chinatown Gate: If it is San Francisco trinkets and memorabilia that you want to purchase, then Chinatown is the place for it. Admire the fancy, exotic architecture or munch on some dim sum teacakes. A casual walk through Chinatown is a memorable experience. Other places worth visiting are Pagoda Gates, Portsmouth Square, and Old St. Mary’s Church.
The complete tour ends after approximately 75-90 minutes. You may hop on and hop off at any of the designated stops, sightsee, shop or eat and then hop back again when the next bus comes along.
The Golden Gate Loop tour is as follows:
This 90-minute tour departs from Fisherman’s Wharf, passing through the Marina District for a brief photo stop at the Palace of Fine Arts. From here, it continues through the Presidio with beautiful views of the Bay, Golden Gate and Crissy Fields. You’ll enjoy the best views in San Francisco as you cross the Golden Gate bridge. From the top deck, you’ll have unobstructed views of the Bridge, Alcatraz, Angel Island, Marin Headlands, Baker Beach and San Francisco’s skyline.
After a ten-minute photo stop at Vista Point, you will cross back over the bridge, exploring the Presidio and Pacific Heights before returning to Fisherman’s Wharf.
